Time Out Critic's Choice 2006 ***** October 2006
Written 20 years ago, but still fresh and urgent Lisa Evanss remarkable
play for children charts one young girls experience as she takes her place
in the burgeoning civil rights movement..It sings with hope in the face
of terrible family tragedy. Richard Shannons production negotiates the
serious and the mischievous with finesse. In an excellent cast Antonia
Kemi Coker is outstanding as Lizzie's teenage sister Maguerite, a young
women with her jaw set firm as she marches into history.
